The Orlando metropolitan area is 30 miles East of Davenport and the downtown Tampa business district is about 1 hours drive to the West along I-4.

Located within the city limits of Davenport is the Davenport School of the Arts. Two middle schools, elementary schools and High School are also located nearby. Only 4 miles away, is the fully accredited Heart of Florida Hospital.

Polk Community College, Webber College, Florida Southern Warner Southern College and Valencia College are all within a short driving distance.
